Established in 2014, our journey into school photography began when a school approached Sabrina Rubini Photography, looking for something different from traditional ID-style photos. They wanted portraits with personality, warmth, and authenticity — images that captured children as they truly are.
With over 30 years of experience as a photographer and storyteller, Sabrina brought her passion for natural, genuine portraiture into the school environment. Her ability to connect with children and capture real expressions quickly resonated with both schools and families.
As more schools began embracing this modern approach, demand continued to grow. What started as a small extension of Sabrina Rubini Photography soon evolved into a dedicated school photography brand, along with an amazing crew. To reflect this growth and our specialised focus on schools, Playground School Portraits was born.
